2012 Season begins with BIG changes. PLEASE READ!!!

Hey Wash Park runners!!!
I know lots of you are itching to get out and run since the weather has been so nice this early in the season. I'm excited to start our new season on April 4th!!! We have some big changes in how the run will function this year so please read carefully below…

OUR RUNS WILL NOW BEGIN AT WHOLE FOODS
What this means: Instead of checking in at PUB ON PEARL, all runners will now check in at Whole Foods across the street. Check in will start at 6pm in the cafe seating area just west of the cashiers. Here you will check in to start marking your attendance at each run. We will all start our run as a group at 6:30 after some brief announcements.

PUB ON PEARL IS SPONSORING THE PUB RUN EVERY OTHER WEEK
What this means: We will now be ending our runs at the Pub on Pearl EVERY OTHER WEEK instead of every week. After the run, we will enjoy a Whole Foods dinner and a FREE BEER on the house.

April 4, April 18, May 2, May 16, May 30, June 13, June 27. More dates to come.

WHOLE FOODS WILL SPONSOR ODD WEEK RUNS THAT BEGIN AND END AT WHOLE FOODS
What this means: In an effort to keep all of us in shape, Whole Foods is hosting an independent run that starts and ends at Whole Foods on the alternate wednesdays. Everything will run the same except that we will end our run at Whole Foods where we will have water and bananas for everyone. You will receive bi-weekly emails for that run independently from this one.
Whole Foods runs:
April 11, April 25, May 9, May 23, June 6, June 20. More dates to come.

RUNNING ROUTE IS NOW REVERSED
What this means: At 6:30, we will now leave the Whole Foods parking lot and head east on Arizona and take a right on Corona and a left on Louisiana to head into the park. We will exit the park on Kentucky and take a left on Corona and a right on Mississippi. I will provide handouts of this map for new runners rather than explain the route at every run start.

DO NOT PARK IN THE WHOLE FOODS FRONT PARKING LOT
I highly encourage everyone to ride their bikes or run to Whole Foods for each run. If you must drive, please DO NOT park in the Whole Foods front parking lot. You may park behind Whole Foods (off of Pearl St by the dumpsters). Those who park in the Whole Foods front parking lot are subject to being towed. Also, be considerate of the neighborhood by not parking directly in front of residential homes.

ALL RETURNING AND NEW RUNNERS MUST REGISTER FOR THE 2012 SEASON
What this means: We are starting a fresh new database to count runs for this season. This means that every runner will need to fill out the ONE-TIME registration on the Ipad at Whole Foods… even if you have run with us in the past.

EARN A T-SHIRT WITH 10 RUNS THIS SEASON
After your tenth run this season, you will earn a a killer t-shirt to commemorate your accomplishment!

ALL runners register at 6:00.
We just need you to enter your name, email and T-shirt size into our database so we can start recording your number of runs. This only happens once a year for every runner.
We run at 6:30

NOTE!!!!! You MUST have a valid ID to drink at the Pub on Pearl.
